BIG SUR FIDDLE CAMP

ELIGIBILITY
For Fiddle Camp: at least two years on your primary instrument. We are primarily a youth, teen and young-adult camp for ages 11 and up, but we do accommodate a small number of adults and parents depending on overall attendance.
The Firefly half-day camp is for ages 4-8 and requires no prior music experience.
PRICING
Tuition for camp will be $1200 per participant. Scholarships are provided based on demonstrated need. Deposit for Fiddle Camp is $600, due April 1. A second family member's tuition is a $100 discount.
The Firefly program cost is $250 for the week (5 days). Scholarships are available. See below.
FIREFLIES PROGRAM
For ages 4-8 years old, a mix of art & music, that requires no previous music experience. A half-day program from 9-12pm, June 24-28 presenting an introduction to instruments centered around songs and ukelele.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships are available to individuals earning less than $40K per year, or an individual in a household or family that earns less than $65K per year. If you have a special circumstance, please apply and explain your situation.

WORK SCHOLAR PROGRAM
We have 4 spaces open for our Work Scholar Program. These are non-parent adults who want to take classes but are willing to help us run the camp with a variety of chores. Everything from cooking, to leading afternoon activities, to cleaning up after meals, to watering the gardens and of course getting kids to help can be expected. Out of the 4 classes offered daily, you will be guaranteed to attend 3. The price for this program is $900, 25% off our early-bird tuition price. To apply, please contact Lygia directly >>
ACCOMPANYING/ VOLUNTEER PARENTS
The parents accompanying their student(s) will be expected to volunteer and help in various camp-related tasks, but are also eligible to participate in classes with the instrument of their choice if they desire. We have a very limited number of spaces for parents.
COVID-19 Policy
We are requiring all attendees of camp provide a photo of a Rapid Home test or PCR test no more than 24 hours prior to attending camp. These may be submitted via email. No attendee will be admitted without these two negative tests. Upon any occurrence of COVID, students will be asked to test again. A negative test of any student during camp will require the student be immediately picked up. We will have accommodations for immediate isolation, should anyone test negative. The price to attend camp for parents is the second family member price: (tuition minus $100).
